God's Grace and Peace In Our Lives

 In 2 Peter 1:2, we encounter two words that we often read right past without stopping to consider their full weight: grace and peace. This message unpacks those words with care, revealing that grace is not a single concept but a layered reality with at least three distinct dimensions. Common grace sustains the entire human race and restrains the full expression of human sinfulness. Redeeming grace is the gift extended to all who place their faith in Christ, reconciling us to God and making us new creatures. And sanctifying grace is the ongoing work that molds us, trains us in holiness, and empowers us to live differently in a world that is pulling us in every direction. Together, these expressions of grace are not simply theological categories. They are the actual fuel for the Christian life
